That service included real-world activations: disaster relief operations, supporting Guard units preparing for overseas deployment, and providing security support for major public events. That experience gave her something no classroom designation can replicate: a genuine fluency in military culture, structure, and language that only comes from having served alongside those who wore the uniform.
